Rohrbacherisms: "...would be said colloquially, 'Oh, I'm fucked.' Here it's like...yeah! Your sides are thoroughly...actually...intercoursed."

"Hot to trot. I don't know what it means, but I like it."

"...and a light chop on bay and inland waters. It's beautiful. It's soothing. You don't get that on the Wyoming report."

"Lips biting, woo! That's hot to trot. That's a light chop on bay and inland waters!"

"Unlike most ships, this ship is a dude."

"...the god-and-a-half of sea-faring."

"This is how we in our particular circle roll by chariot."

"The creakitude and the walkification..."

"He's a detective...of LOVE."

"Hail, passerby, I am a boat."

"Hello, I'm dead."

"...the general ancient hatred of things that are new."

"vigorous denting of the bed because of a lot of erotic gymnastics."

"Be all you can be, and some of you could be an 'F'."

"Costs is a weird-ass verb, isn't it?"

"Stop poking your nose into other people's business. Go back to your box."

"...and some people live in Finland!"

"Oh, you're off to the middle east. I'm looking forward to making out with you when you return."

Robert: "Do you have friends? No, you steal napkins."

4 Winds for V-Day: 'Vaginas are red / phalluses are blue, / Valentine's blows / eat some cookies."

Love the Rohrbacherisms. This's Laura, BTW. Mind if I friend you? Also, you were asking about the group for John Moore quotes. It's a bit old and not busy, but it's [info]kai_apokteine.

Hi Laura. It looks I deleted my Rohrbacher community a while ago and then forgot. Sorry about that! But yeah, friend away! :D

Awww. Well count me in for the Rohrbacherisms-a-Day, if you want to do that. And I'm sure no one on the John Moore group would mind if you shared these there. I -think- I may have posted a couple random ones from David, but I could be wrong. I need to sift through my old quotes and post those. Maybe at the end of the year! I've had a lot of Rohrbacher classes. @_@

What email would you like me to use to send you the Rohrbacherisms?

"Things aren't all so tangible and sayable as people would usually have us believe; most experiences are unsayable, they happen in a space that no word has ever entered, and more unsayable than all other things are works of art, those mysterious existences, whose life endures beyond our small transitory life." ~~ Rainer Maria Rilke, tr. Stephen Mitchell

"Shrill notes begin, the grim violin. Then from the silence a violence of sirens orchestrate the score, to which one more corpse is left quiet. How we've become the hollows of drums, the rest between notes and the hollers than ever reach throats..." ~ "Salty Eyes," The Matches

"Poetry is realer than history. History tells you what happened on an occasion. Poetry tells you what happens again and again." ~ John Moore
